Communities In Schools of the Coastal Bend is a non-profit dropout prevention agency in Corpus Christi. It coordinates the delivery of school-based social services in 24 schools (pre-kindergarten to high school) with large at-risk populations through partnerships with nine independent school districts and one private school in Nueces, San Patricio, Jim Wells, Kleberg, Aransas and Brooks counties.
“Helping young students to be prepared for school will help them feel like they belong in their school and make them want to be there,” said Gregory H. Herrman, managing partner of Herrman & Herrman, attorneys at law. “We’re pleased to do our part to support this important effort.”
