STARR COUNTY, TX – According to Valley Central, a woman died in a two-vehicle crash at Woods Brothers Rd and La Sagunada Rd Tuesday.
The driver of a Hummer was heading north on Woods Brothers Rd when they collided with a Nissan Altima driven by Pamela Pena, 27, head-on at around 8:30 p.m.
Rescue crews transported Pena, the Hummer driver, and a passenger from the Altima to area hospitals. The Hummer driver and the passenger from the Altima suffered minor injuries. Pena died at the hospital.
The incident is under investigation by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
