SAN ANTONIO, TX – A driver died on Friday morning after an 18-wheeler crashed into their car on IH-10 and then left the scene of the accident.
The accident occurred around 6:00 a.m. on May 22, according to KTSA News. An 18-wheeler collided with another vehicle on IH-10 near Dominion drive. The commercial truck continued driving after the accident.
Police officers reported that the driver in the other vehicle died on the scene.
Officials are still investigating the cause of the crash and searching for the 18-wheeler that was involved.
As of 7:00 a.m. on May 22, all traffic on eastbound IH-10 was being diverted off the highway near Boerne Stage Road.
