ARANSAS PASS, TX – According to KIII, police are investigating a fatal 3-car collision on the 2100 block of Hwy 361 Wednesday.
Rescue crews responded to the auto accident around 11:20 p.m. They used the jaws of life to extricate Ivan Siverand, 24, from a vehicle before pronouncing him dead at the scene.
One person was ejected from their vehicle during the crash. Crews airlifted that person to an area hospital in critical condition.
Authorities believe impairment may have been a factor in the incident.
