SAN ANTONIO, TX – A driver fatally collided with an elderly woman on Oak Hill Rd near Viva Max Dr Wednesday morning, according to Fox San Antonio.
The 59-year-old female driver of a Ford Edge lost control of her vehicle and struck the victim, a woman in her 70s, at around 10:30 a.m. The driver then hit a tree before finally coming to a rest.
First responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene of the accident and transported the driver to an area hospital. The driver was arrested for Intoxication Manslaughter after she was released from the hospital.
