Alleged impaired driver rear-ends car, pushes it into pedestrian on I-10

SAN ANTONIO – An alleged drunk driver rear-ended a vehicle and pushed it into its drive on 12800 I-10 WB Saturday.

According to News 4 San Antonio, a 27-year-old woman had exited her vehicle to check on it because it appeared to have mechanical damage. At around 2 a.m., another driver slammed into the back of her car, pushing it into the victim.

First responders transported the victim to an area hospital. The suspect had open containers in their vehicle, so they were arrested on suspicion of DWI.
