SOUTH PADRE ISLAND, TX – According to My San Antonio, members of the U.S. coast guard rescued a 4-year-old boy who had fallen and hit his head on some rocks Sunday.
The victim’s family waved down the Coast Guard and asked for help. The Coast Guard took the child, who had suffered lacerations to his head, and administered first aid before transporting him to an emergency medical service on the island. EMS crews then took the boy to a hospital in Brownsville.
It is unclear what caused the boy to fall upon the rocks.
