BROWNSVILLE, TX – A gray 2016 Dodge and a white 2018 Chevrolet collided on East Avenue near Impala Drive last Friday resulting in injuries to at least one of the drivers.
The 36-year-old man driving the Dodge caused the collision with the Chevrolet when he made an unsafe turn, according to an officer with the Brownsville Police Department. The incident took place on Friday, April 24 at approximately 1:45 p.m.
The 36-year-old man sustained injuries in the accident, but the police have not released additional details. Both vehicles were severely damaged in the crash, with the Dodge sustaining damage to the front right portion of the car and the Chevrolet sustaining damage to the back left. Both vehicles required tow trucks to remove them from the scene.
