BROWNSVILLE, TX — A woman failed to back out properly resulting in a non-fatal car accident.
Thursday afternoon an elderly woman driving a black 2008 Chevrolet incorrectly backed out of a driveway. This resulted in her rear bumper coming into contact with another vehicle. The vehicle was a tan 2014 Chevrolet.
Police report that the crash resulted in no injuries in either car. Furthermore, all occupants in both vehicles were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. Weather conditions were clear at the time of the accident.
Police found the driver of the black 2008 Chevrolet to be at fault for the accident.
