CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – A vehicle rolled over after running a red light and crashing into another car on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Waldron Road and South Padre Island Drive. According to Kris News 6, a driver in a white SUV ran through a red light at around 1 p.m. while traveling west on South Padre Island Drive. The SUV crashed into a four-door car and then rolled over multiple times. The SUV struck a light pole and a street sign before coming to a stop.
Police officers on the scene report that neither driver was injured in the accident. However, the SUV caused significant property damage during the crash.
The police gave the driver in the SUV a citation for running the light.
