SAN ANTONIO, TX – According to KSAT12, a driver is facing driving while intoxicated charges after he ran two red lights and crashed into a van. The accident took place yesterday, around 6 p.m. at the intersection of Walzem Rd and the northbound I-35 service road.
The crash injured three individuals in the van who were transported to the hospital for treatment.
Police say the driver who caused the crash smelled of intoxicants and had drugs in his vehicle at the time of the crash. He is currently in critical condition.
