REAGAN COUNTY, TX – Two passengers died when a driver ran a stop sign at SH 137 and FM 1357 on Tuesday, according to News West 9.
Doyle Ray Bridger-Pruneda, 70, was heading west on FM 1357 when he ran a stop sign and collided with a semi-truck on northbound SH 137 around 7 p.m.
First responders pronounced Bridger-Pruneda’s two passengers, Myrtie Lee Hoeft, 95, and Sayble Jackson Bridger, 86, dead at the scene and transported Bridger-Pruneda to an area hospital in stable condition. The driver of the semi-truck was uninjured in the collision.
The incident is under investigation by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
