BROWNSVILLE, TX — A speeding driver crashed his car last Wednesday in Brownsville.
The accident occurred around noon near the intersection of East Filmore Street and East 6th Street. According to police the driver of a maroon 2003 Ford was not paying attention to his speed on East 6th Street. For unknown reasons this caused the driver to crash. The crash caused no damage to any other vehicles, but the Ford had to be towed from the scene. Police report that the weather was clear at the time of the accident.
Police reported no injuries as a result of the incident.
