MCALLEN, TX – An SUV driver fatally struck a motorcyclist on the 1500 block of S 10th St Tuesday, according to Valley Central.
The SUV driver hit the motorcyclist around 7 p.m. The impact ejected the motorcyclist off the motorcycle and into a pole.
Rescue crews transported the motorcyclist to an area hospital, where he died.
Following the collision, the SUV driver remained at the scene of the accident.
Authorities have not released the name of the motorcyclist.
