PROGRESSO, TX – According to Valley Central, a driver fatally collided with a pedestrian on FM 1015 south of Military Hwy Sunday.
A person driving a Chevrolet Silverado hit Minerva Hinojosa, 37, as she was walking north on FM 1015 at around 5:45 a.m.
The Silverado driver stopped to render aid to Hinojosa following the collision.
First responders pronounced Hinojosa dead at the scene of the accident.
