CAMERON COUNTY, TX – A driver fatally collided with a pedestrian on SH 48 near Chemical Rd Wednesday night, according to KRGV.
The driver of a Ford Ranger was heading east on SH 48 when he hit Jesus Iglesias, 42, around 9:29 p.m. Iglesias’s vehicle had run out of gas on the side of the road and he was attempting to retrieve some fuel.
First responders pronounced Iglesias dead at the scene of the accident.
The police are investigating the collision.
