SAN ANOTNIO, TX – First responders were called to the scene of a head-on collision involving a VIA bus in northwest San Antonio early Wednesday.
According to KSAT, the crash happened when a car heading west on Wurzbach Road near Cairo Drive at about 6 a.m. and went into the oncoming lanes in an attempt to pass another vehicle. The car then slammed head-on into a westbound VIA bus.
The unidentified driver of the car was taken to an area hospital with unspecified injuries. The bus driver was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
None of the four passengers on the bus were seriously injured.
