SAN ANTONIO, TX – A driver who allegedly struck and killed a motorcyclist on the 13200 block of O’Connor Rd on November 9, 2020, was sentenced to 18 years in prison on Wednesday.
According to KSAT, Christopher Norton was driving a black SUV erratically on southbound O’Connor Rd when he crashed into Phillip Warren Snow, 48, as he was turning onto Larkdale Dr. Snow was operating a Kawasaki motorcycle on Southbound O’Connor Rd at the time of the accident.
Rescue crews transported Snow to an area hospital, where he died an hour later.
Following the collision, Norton fled the scene. Authorities apprehended Norton two days later on November 11. Norton was charged with failure to stop and render aid causing death. Norton plead guilty to that charge in July.
