SAN ANTONIO, TX – A driver collided with a TxDOT employee on I-410 near Marbach Rd Sunday, according to KSAT.
The employee was closing off a section of I-410 due to a prior incident when a driver heading south hit the employee at 2:55 a.m.
Following the collision, the driver remained at the scene of the accident.
Rescue crews transported the victim to an area hospital in critical condition.
The incident is under investigation by SAPD. They do not believe impairment played a role in the wreck.
