SAN ANTONIO, TX – A driver was rescued last night after being trapped in a car, reports KSAT12.
The driver was trapped after he lost control of his vehicle and hit a light pole. The accident took place around 11:30 p.m. last night on Loop 410 at the exit to Poteet Jourdanton Freeway.
The fire department rescued the trapped driver who was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Two passengers who were in the vehicle were also taken to the hospital to be checked out.
A pistol was found under the driver’s seat and marijuana was founding in a backpack in the vehicle.
The driver has been charged as a felon in possession of a firearm and marijuana.
