SAN ANTONIO, TX – The police arrested a woman in Northwest San Antonio on Saturday after she flipped her vehicle while drunk-driving.
Virginia Nesmith Ross, 44, flipped her vehicle over near the intersection of Cheddar Drive and Cambray Drive at approximately 1:15 a.m. on May 16. Fox San Antonio reports that police officers on the scene found the car lying on its roof with the driver trapped inside.
The police rescued Ross from the flipped car, and they report that she sustained no injuries in the accident. No other cars or people were involved in the accident.
Officers suspect that Ross was intoxicated at the time of the accident because she failed a field sobriety test. Ross was arrested and is now facing a DWI charge.
