SAN ANTONIO, TX ā An intoxicated driver severely injured a pedestrian in San Antonio on Sunday.
The incident occurred early in the morning at the intersection of Bandera Road and Woodland Avenue. According to KSAT, the pedestrian was crossing the street when the driver “pulled up and hit him”. The driver stopped to help the injured pedestrian, however when police arrived at the scene they arrested the driver. He is now being charged with intoxication assault.
Authorities took the injured pedestrian to University Hospital where he remains in critical condition. No further information has been made available at this time.
