SAN ANTONIO, TX – A dark-colored SUV hit a sedan in an intersection on Walzem Road at 7:00 this morning. Witnesses of the accident believe the SUV ran a red light while traveling south, which caused the driver to hit the eastbound sedan.
San Antonio police officers reported that the sedan’s driver died in the collision. A passenger in the sedan sustained life-threatening injuries and was rushed to Brooke Army Medical Center for treatment. The driver of the SUV was also transported to the hospital with head and neck injuries.
