PHARR, TX — A head-on collision in Pharr sent several people to the hospital for treatment on Sunday. The accident took place at the intersection of West Thomas Drive and Highway 281 in Pharr. Police say that the driver of a 2013 gray Toyota sped down the highway. The driver was apparently distracted while driving and drifted into another lane and collided with a gold 2008 Honda.
The occupants of both vehicles reported injuries from the crash and were taken to local hospitals for treatment. The driver of the Toyota was cited by police for distracted driving.
