MCALLEN, TX — McAllen police have arrested and charged a man after a hit-and-run accident left a young woman severely injured on Sunday. The driver, Juan Manuel Ocanas was charged with a third-degree felony on Monday for leaving the scene of an accident involving personal injury. Hidalgo County sheriff’s deputies report that Ocanas admitted to leaving the scene of the accident.
