SAN ANTONIO, TX – According to KSAT, police arrested a hit-and-run driver Tuesday for a fatal crash at Culebra Rd and Alamo Downs Pkwy on May 7.
Christopher Shad Sharp, 39, was driving a GMC Yukon west on Culebra Rd when he ran a red light and collided with the driver’s side of a Ford Focus driven by Jessica Harper, 44.
Rescue crews transported Harper and her passenger to an area hospital, where Harper was pronounced dead.
Following the collision, Sharp fled the scene of the accident on foot.
The police identified Sharp as the driver and issued a warrant for his arrest on charges of evading arrest, failure to stop and render aid resulting in death, and failure to stop and render aid resulting in serious bodily injury on May 12.
