SAN ANTONIO, TX – A fatal car accident was reported at Potranco Road and Highway 151 Sunday, according to News 4 San Antonio.
The 24-year-old driver of a pickup truck was on eastbound Hwy 151 Access Rd when he tried to beat a yellow light and T-boned a sedan that was on westbound Portranco Rd around 1:55 a.m.
First responders pronounced the 27-year-old inside the sedan dead at the scene. They transported the sedan driver to an area hospital in stable condition and treated the pickup truck driver at the scene.
Police arrested the pickup truck driver for intoxication manslaughter. The driver of the sedan is also believed to have been impaired at the time of the accident.
