CORPUS CHRISTI, TX- 36-year-old Albert Martinez was charged in a fatal hit-and-run accident that occurred in March of 2019, according to the Caller Times.
Martinez was driving while intoxicated when he fatally struck Alejandro Garcia at the intersection of Laredo and 17th Street. Martinez was arrested on a 125,000 dollar bond. The driver left the scene of the accident before calling authorities.
The Nueces County grand jury indicted Martinez on for an accident involving death and driving while intoxicated.
