SAN ANTONIO, TX – A man lost his life when he was hit by an oncoming vehicle after being ejected from his SUV on I-10 near Hackberry St Sunday, according to KSAT.
A GMC Yukon driver was swerving between lanes when he lost control of the vehicle, causing it to flip over and eject him from the Yukon around 7:30 a.m. The man landed on the main lanes of I-10, where the driver of a Toyota Camry then hit him.
Rescue crews pronounced the victim dead at the scene of the accident and transported his passenger to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Following the collision, the Toyota driver remained at the scene.
The wreck is under investigation by the police.
