San Antonio, TX – Reports coming in from KSAT mention that a man had swerved across multiple lanes of traffic at around 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 14th. The victim, 42-year-old Robert D. Rodriguez, was found with multiple gunshot wounds to the leg after skidding through oncoming traffic on West Commerce Avenue and hitting a pole. A friend of Rodriguez said that he had been shot the night prior to the accident, but chose to wait before seeking medical attention.
Rodriguez was pronounced dead on the scene. It seems unlikely that drugs or alcohol were involved in the accident, but the investigation is still underway.
