LAREDO, TX – According to Laredo Morning Times, a motorcyclist died after he crashed head-on into a pickup truck at Fleming Dr and University Blvd Friday.
The pickup truck driver was on northbound Fleming Dr about to turn left onto University Blvd when he was struck by a motorcycle operated by Raul Linares, 36, around 6 p.m.
First responders pronounced Linares dead at the scene and transported the pickup truck driver to an area hospital in critical condition.
Police do not believe impairment played a role in the collision. The pickup truck driver gave officers a sample of his blood at the hospital.
The LPD Crash Team and Crimes Against Person Investigators are investigating the incident.
