LAREDO, TX — A motorcyclist was fatally injured after colliding with a vehicle in central Laredo on Saturday.
According to KGNS, on Saturday motorcyclist Juan Guerra ran a red light on his vehicle. Police say he was not wearing a helmet when a car at the intersection ran into him. The collision threw Guerra from his motorcycle and he sustained severe injuries.
He was taken to the hospital where doctors arranged for him to be airlifted into San Antonio. However, his injuries were too severe and he died before he could be moved.
The driver that struck Guerra was shown not to be intoxicated according to police.
