NTSB investigate fatal plane crash in Seguin

SEGUIN, TX – The NTSB believes a plane that crashed and killed two people and a dog had engine trouble before taking off from Elm Creek Airpark on July 22.

According to KSAT, the plane, a single-engine Piper PA-28-235, was occupied by pilot Kenneth Francis Chenevert, 67, passenger Jacqueline Nicole Meziere, 45, and a small dog.

Investigators discovered Meziere called a friend and said they had engine trouble before the flight.
