CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — A vehicle struck a man in a pedestrian accident on South Padre Island Drive in Corpus Christi on Tuesday. The accident took place at approximately 11:50 at night.
Police say the accident occurred due to driver inattention. A gold Dodge on South Padre Island Drive failed to pay attention to the road as a man crossed the street. The Dodge continued to drive until he struck the pedestrian. Police report that the man in question may have been on a bicycle at the time.
Luckily, neither the driver nor the pedestrian were injured in the crash. It is unclear what, if any, legal action will be taken in regards to the accident.
