SAN ANTONIO, TX – KSAT reports that a vehicle hit a pedestrian as he was crossing the street near General Hudnell Drive and Billy Mitchell Boulevard. The accident occurred at around 12:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 25.
The San Antonio police transported the pedestrian to the University Hospital. However, the pedestrian sustained serious injuries and was in critical condition. The driver waited at the scene until police officers arrived to assist the pedestrian. The driver stated that he did not see the pedestrian walking in the street, before hitting him with the vehicle. At this time, police believe that the crash was not intentional.
