SAN ANTONIO, TX – The San Antonio Police Department is looking for a driver who ran away after crashing into a pole on Wednesday morning.
Around 1:00 a.m. on May 20, a silver truck drove into a utility pole outside a Northeast Side home. The incident occurred on Eisenhauer Road near Molokai Drive, according to News 4 San Antonio.
Police officers on the scene believe the driver was speeding and lost control of the vehicle, causing the truck to crash. The driver abandoned the truck at the scene and then ran away. Officials found the severely damaged truck trapped underneath the pole.
No injuries have been reported from the accident at this time.
The police are still investigating the crash and searching for the driver.
