SAN ANTONIO, TX – A woman was injured when a hit-and-run driver collided with her vehicle on the 400 block of Commercial Ave Saturday, according to KSAT.
The driver of a blue car was speeding when they struck a gray car on the rear right bumper on southbound Commercial Ave. The impact sent the grey vehicle into the northbound lanes of traffic before it hit a metal fence.
First responders transported a passenger from the grey car to an area hospital with significant injuries. She is currently in stable condition.
Following the collision, the driver of the blue car fled the scene. After the crash, officers found the vehicle and are still looking for the driver. The police will charge the driver with Failure to Stop and Render Aid when located.
