SAN ANTONIO, TX – A driver was injured after he plowed into a guardrail on the 2200 block of I-35 early Sunday morning.
According to News 4 San Antonio, the victim was driving a pickup truck south on I-35 when his vehicle left the roadway and collided with a guardrail. The collision caused the pickup to roll several times, ejecting the driver in the process. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
First responders transported the victim to an area hospital in critical condition.
Police believe impairment played a role in the incident.
