MCALLEN, TX — A speeding driver caused damage to both his own vehicle and another vehicle.
An accident occurred around 2:00pm on Saturday on Interstate Highway 2 near South Ware Road. The driver of a black 2012 Mercedes Benz was speeding on IH 2 when he collided with a white 2018 GMC. The GMC received damage to the rear end. Police report clear weather at the time of the accident.
Police reported no injuries as a result of the incident. All occupants in both vehicles are reported to have been wearing their seatbelts during the crash.
