PORTLAND, TX – A speeding Honda injured two drivers and a passenger in a car accident on Friday afternoon.
A 53-year-old woman driving a red 2014 Honda was reportedly speeding on Saratoga Boulevard near Spohn Drive South at approximately 1:30 p.m. on May 8, when she crashed into a white 2015 Dodge.
According to a report from a Corpus Christi Police officer, the Honda sustained severe damage to the front bumper. A tow truck had to remove the Honda from the scene of the accident. The Dodge sustained moderate damage to the front bumper but did not require a tow truck.
The accident injured the 53-year-old Honda driver and a 29-year-old woman in the Hondaās passenger seat. The 44-year-old woman driving the Dodge also sustained injuries in the accident. Officials on the scene report that the injuries were not life-threatening.
The speeding Honda is being held responsible for the damages and injuries the accident caused.
