SAN ANTONIO, TX – Two semis collided on westbound I-10 at North Frio St. causing heavy traffic delays on Monday afternoon.
According to My San Antonio, one semi driver lost control due to the slippery road conditions and struck another semi in the westbound lanes of I-10. The semi that was struck lost control and crashed into the median wall causing part of the truck to hang over the wall.
No injuries or fatalities have been reported.
Diesel fuel was leaked onto the highway. Local authorities closed that section of westbound I-10 to clean up the fuel and crash. The highway has since been reopened.
Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
