CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — A driver who caused a rollover crash in Corpus Christi is being given a DWI.
The accident happened Thursday evening at the intersection of Highway 44 and Violet Road. According to KRIS, Eddie Aguilar was driving while intoxicated when he ran a stop sign. This resulted in Aguilar’s car colliding with another vehicle. The other vehicle rolled over from the impact. Aguilar then tried to leave the scene on foot. Police then arrested him.
Police say that both drivers were taken to the hospital after the accident. Aguilar is now being brought up on DWI charges by the city of Corpus Christi.
