CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — A driver involved in an accident on Thursday is being given a DWI.
The accident occurred in the evening on Thursday at the intersection of Highway 44 and Violet Road. Eddie Aguilar struck another vehicle. The vehicle rolled over on the road. Aguilar attempted to flee the scene on foot. Police subsequently chased him down. He was found to be intoxicated at the time of the incident. Police transported him, as well as the other driver involved, to the hospital before making an arrest.
Since the incident Aguilar is now being served with a DWI and potentially other charges. Police have not provided new information about the condition of the other driver at this time.
