SAN ANTONIO, TX – Emergency crews responded to a downed utility pole at SW 36th St and Eldridge Ave last night, reports FOX San Antonio.
The pole was hit by a car around 10 p.m. Sunday when a man crossed the centerline of the roadway. He hit a pickup truck before striking the pole. The Pickup’s driver was transported to the hospital with minor injuries following the crash.
The driver who hit the truck and pole was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
