CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – A woman lost her life after striking the rear of a concrete pump truck at N Padre Island Dr and Agnes St Wednesday, according to KRIS-TV.
A 37-year-old male was driving the concrete pump truck on N Padre Island Dr when he collided with the back of a construction vehicle. The collision caused the pump truck to go into the left lane. Stephanie Vallejo, 31, then crashed into the pump truck.
Rescue crews pronounced Vallejo dead at the scene of the accident.
The incident is under investigation by the Corpus Christi Police Department.
