MCALLEN, TX — Two vehicles collided in McAllen on Saturday.
According to police the accident took place around nine in the morning near the intersection of West Dove Avenue and North 23rd Street. The driver of a white 2020 Kia made an attempt at a right turn. However, they were in the wrong lane to attempt that maneuver. They then collided with another vehicle, a gray 2017 Chevrolet. Police report cloudy weather at the time of the accident.
Both drivers, the sole occupants of their vehicles, reported injuries from the collision. Their conditions are unknown at this time. The driver of the Kia was found by police to be at fault for the accident.
